Samsung is famous for launching new flagship devices each year. The flagship smartphone series of the company, the Samsung Galaxy Series is immensely popular among the fans and the experts have accolades the device too. The tablet lineup of the Korean company is also very famous, but recently the reputation has been dented due to numerous accusations, mostly regarding the faulty production of the batteries of the device. The Korean tech giant launches the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 last year August, with a mammoth battery and soon after the release of the coveted device, users started complaining about the phablet. Due to the huge battery juice, the device gets heated enormously and sometimes the phablet gets exploded. So after the battery fiasco of the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung is determined to make the next iteration of the series, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 a perfect device from all the aspects. In fact, it is the last chance for the Korean tech giant to save their phablet line up and to revive the lost pride and reputation.
So when the phablet is coming out and what will be the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 release date, that is the biggest question in the current scenario. Last year, to compete with the Apple devices, Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 7 earlier than the usual release date. Generally, the Korean company releases their flagship devices during the IFA Berlin event, but the unveiled the phablet just ahead of this mega event. But after the battery debacle of the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung again is going back to the basic. So the experts believe that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be unveiled during the IFA 2017 Berlin event which is scheduled to take place between 1st to 6th September 2017.
Another important question which bugs the tech enthusiasts is the probable specifications of the Galaxy Note 8. According to the various trusted sources, the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 is going to sport a 6.2-inch screen, bigger than all its predecessors. Although the device will come with a bigger display, the dimension of the phablet is expected to remain unchanged as the device will flaunt an edge-to-edge display and will be completely bezel-less.
Under the hood, the Galaxy Note 8 is believed to sport the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset coupled with a massive 6GB of RAM. The biggest advantage of the brand new QUALCOMM Snapdragon 835 processor is it takes less space in the device, ups the power consumption by 40% and increases the performance of the device up to 27%. On the optics front, the phablet is expected to come with a dual-lens camera setup, where one of the sensors will be a telephoto lens and the one will be a wide-angle lens. There is no doubt that the Galaxy Note 8 would run on the latest version of the Android operating system. So if Google can come up with the Android O OS before the Galaxy Note 8 release date, then the device would run on that operating system, else the device will feature the existing Android Nougat operating system out of the box.
